Jet stood at the top of the stairs, "Eah!" he cried.

I walked towards him and he took that as an implicit yes and started towards the stairs. I sprint. I catch him as he leans forward to try and step, forward, down the stairs. I get in front of him, and Jet just tries to take the steps by launching himself forward. As hard as he can.

Gah! I basically play catch-the-boy the whole way down.

What all mothers are afraid of: My boy has *NO* sense of self-preservation.

But he did have a blast leaping the whole way down
