Thank you! I'm learning gradually how to do composition and layout and the whole visual imagination thing is really a lot of work for me. I have to have references, but all I had were a bunch of squashed, dried leaves that I'd thrown into my notebook, and the reality is quite different than what I wanted in a way, and finally, I have a real painting of what I actually wanted.

It seems so simple when one sees it, but... it's actually a painting of something I've never seen before, and that's quite the trip. Most of my paintings borrow bits from photos, paintings, or other things I've seen sitting in front of the Front Range every day, if that makes sense. This one was actually all mine.
