John was a sweetie and did his best to get me extra sleep last night. He'd caught up the night before so it was payback time, and he shooed me off to bed right after I'd nursed Jet and Jet decided not to go immediately to sleep.
I did okay until 2 am, then I was up and thinking and kind of full of milk and Jet got up just before 3, which was nice. I was then up until 4:30 writing stuff out so that my brain could finally rest, and afterwards I had rather soothing dreams, so I think I got all the thoughts out. That was good.
Today's kind of sleepy, though. I'm doing okay with work stuff, but not great. I did a rather vague meeting in the morning, on my part, and I'm mildly vague about what to do now that the vacation is over. I have a bunch of pings I sent out yesterday for things that I needed for a few next steps. A few have come back today, so I now have a few things to do. That's good. Of course, Jet decided, for the first time in a while to not nap at all, so I now have a baby who *wants* the keyboard and has stolen the mouse off the household machine instead of my work machine. He also stole the mouse pad and is chewing, industriously, at the corner of it.
Jet's pretty happy, though, which is very nice.
After B's stories about nursing a wiggling baby with teeth, I'm very glad to report that now that Jet has his teeth, he isn't wiggling any more than he used to, and he's actually been very good about not biting me. When his teeth were first in, there was one time when he looked at me, very closely, and then started closing his teeth on my nipple. My reaction seems to have taught him, in one fell swoop, that that was not a good idea, without scaring him off of nursing. Yay!
