Well, it started that way, and I actually had a chapter written right after The Rescue, that took them all the way to the next spring. It should have been done the chapter after that.
But then the tactics class happened, as one of the 'bridge' chapters to that written and now AU chapter... and... *shrugs* they kind of took on a life of their own.
But, yeah... originally Twin Souls was a way of getting my feet wet. It still is in a way, as I now get to do the thing I've never done before, which is fulfill all the promises I've made in the previous parts. *grins* I now have a stack of about 15 cards with what I see as those promises...
Now I just have to get all the OTHER things off my plate and chest... which is why Tenpou's out, and I'm about to finish off the Ukitake/Shuuhei stark and I promised last summer, and then clear the decks for the ending, as I'll need everything I've got for it.
