I do love Howl's Moving Castle, but the ending jarred a bit. But then I loved the book so much (http://www.amazon.com/Howls-Moving-Castle-Diana-Wynne/dp/0061478784/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1238012147&sr=8-1) that I was kind of grumpy about where they deviated.
Still, it's beautiful, and I really love how Miyazaki rendered the Castle. Wow.
KT would spoil anyone... but I rather like the FM manga. It's not as edgy as Bleach or as beautiful; but it still is good about telling the story visually. The action sequences are sometimes a little muddled, but they're not even nearly as horrible as Saiyuki's action sequences. *laughs* Given that I happily zoomed through Saiyuki, FM is much, much better.
