It's a good question, that last. Shunsui did seem to notice Fong holding it a lot more than when Jyuushiro did...but she was also doing a lot of things with at least the small blade.

Most shinigami don't have two to play with (*dies laughing*) so... Shunsui does seem unique in that instance.
