Riley decided to draw some musical notes last night but I don't know why. He did recognize the (non-functional) musical note button on my hospital bed so maybe that's part of it. I see Jet can do rests, even!
But Jet's been learning rudimentary music theory in his music class, and he's been shown and heard the tah tah tee-tee tah way of doing quarter notes and sixteenth notes. They taught rests as well, and he loves the shape of the quarter note rests so much that he's been drawing a plethora of them. As you can see. :-)
Yeah, Jet's starting to add music to his pictures. Movie director? *grin*
Oh, that is adorable. And it's making me wonder--do you think would Jet like a cat-ear hat for the holidays? I'm looking at making a lot of stuff this year, and haven't crocheted forever, and love making the hats, and yeah. If so, lmk likely colors and his head size, please?
I could always make him a pom-pom hat, too! I was just thinking kitty because of his loaf cats. ^_^ Or I could make a better-sized one for you, if you want to pass your hat along to him, or whatever!
He's said he doesn't want a cat-eared hat. Just because he WANTS to be a jet plane or a pumpkin head for Halloween. Yes, there is little relevance to the actual hat, but his brain is occupied with Halloween at the moment and anything that might be construed as "other" costume is.
And I'm happy with the pom-pom hat I have. :-) So no need to make us any more, but I really do appreciate the offer!

I spent a bunch of Saturday trying to find a good scaredy cat image to base my Halloween decoration on (I cut it out of black cardboard).
Once I figured out that making the cat's head in the shape of a lemon worked really well, I finally managed to freehand a shape that I liked!
Posting pix will have to wait til the BF gets home from Peru/Luxembourg with the camera though.
