Upton's Orange Spice

Bought: Upton Teas probably six months ago. They no longer carry this. You can now get an "Orange Spice Imperial" with more cloves and vanilla or a "Mellow Spice Blend" with caramel added.
Brewed: 203 (full boil) for maybe 3 minutes.
Leaf scent: Bitter orange pith and cloves.
Leaf appearance: Even, brown with chunks and hunks of spices and orange peel
Liquor color: Deep red brown.
Taste: Oranges and spice. A lot like old Constant Comment. Not much tea taste, but what there is doesn't get in the way of the whole personality profile. Lots of cinnamon and clove and orange over a rounded tea base. Pleasant enough for an afternoon pick me up. Not absurdly different, and very inexpensive ($4.90 for 125 grams about 4 ounces). Middle of the road stuff and enjoyable for all that. No bitterness in the actually taste, it's smooth and nice that way. Great for when I'm in the mood for orange and spice.
