My writing brain turned off, and my graphical brain, which isn't very good at time, turned on the other night as I worked on this. And the next thing I knew, the milk delivery guy was banging away at the milk box. Oommph. I put the milk away and went to bed and in the morning, John laughed and laughed when he found the milk in the fridge instead of in the delivery box.

I commissioned another Twin Souls picture because I was kind of feeling down about how little I was getting done on the story lately...

I drew chibi Tenpou and Byakuya, I think... kinda... *laughs*

The Y!Gallery requirement for icon art is sometimes something of a pain, especially for crossovers, as someone got kind of confused at my using a Byakuya icon and having the first few paragraphs be all about Hakkai... who turned out to be Tenpou... *laughs* so hopefully this will disambiguate things...

Ever since Spring Break, the three of us have been on a Lego Batman Binge.

Jet and I went halvsies on buying the game, used, from a place on Amazon, so we got it for $20 with all the docs and box and everything. It was very nice indeed, and all three of us are loving all the options, levels, stories, things that we find, puzzles that we're doing.

( For odd dreams resulting from that, and my first playing with the tablet with my Eye of Ichigo. )

They're... minimal. *laughs*

I'm... just starting to find a little confidence in actually trying to draw anything with human features, especially with all the really good artists that peer at this journal. Most of these are free-hand copied from the various manga because I'm still trying to figure out how to draw people, and what kinds of details make a difference and trying out paint.net or gimp for coloring things in. I'm still kind of baffled at how one of my Hakkai's doesn't look like him at *all*. ah well...

I'll even offer a 100-word drabble for anyone that guesses all 5 at all (if you get 'em wrong, I'll figure it's my fault). They'll be written after I get my TS chapter DONE. *laughs* In Bleach, Saiyuki, Tsubasa RC, xxxholic, Dogs, and Samurai Champloo (and you can add either computer science or knitting or cooking to any of those), name a pairing and a prompt (cross as you like) but I reserve the right to do my own take on the pairing. In a way this is thanks to incandescens for her drabble, too. I know, it's really a Bleach fan kind of thing...

The very, very first fanfic I wrote, at the beginning of 2008, was one of Riku and Sora on the Dark Shore together called "Follow Your Heart" and I really enjoyed doing it.

And when I commissioned morgainelefae to do artwork for me, we bandied about lots of stuff, but I liked that fic and she found that the ending of it really grabbed her interest. And she's now done a full-page comic of the end of that fic. It's available on Deviant Art. It's utterly gorgeous.

She also did two amazingly cute little chibi drawings for "Silver and Black". One of David with his noodles and one of the two boys being sweet over a cuppa cocoa. *giggles* They're on Y! Gallery...

For those that were squeeing over the Bleach chapter and the two-page spread... there's another goodie... and it was given to ME!! HA! *dances about* Akiahara did a gorgeous thing that, at first, I thought was a Bleach cover and then I whacked my forehead and was like "duh"... but... wow....

A picture of David. I love his clothing and his look. I really love that he now looks Chinese rather than "anime white". I especially love that waistcoat, and now have odd plans in the back of my head on making something like that for myself. *laughter*

A picture of Chris. With every inch of the attitude I associate with his public persona when he's trying to get out of being stopped for the post-play party. *laughs* I love the hands on this one, too. Just... kinda wow.

It's always interesting to see a visualization of someone that was only in my head...

I guess I should make a central page for all this stuff, now.
