Jet on Adulthood

liralenHe and I were having a discussion about adulthood... and how teenagers got to be adults. He was pretty clear on the idea that once someone is 18 they're considered an adult.
Then he said, "You're only a parent when you have kids. Then you're not an adult anymore."
I think I have to concur with him.
