I Am A: True Neutral Half-Elf Ranger Bard

Alignment:
True Neutral characters are very rare. They believe that balance is the most important thing, and will not side with any other force. They will do whatever is necessary to preserve that balance, even if it means switching allegiances suddenly.

Race:
Half-Elves are a cross between a human and an elf. They are smaller, like their elven ancestors, but have a much shorter lifespan. They are sometimes looked down upon as half-breeds, but this is rare. They have both the curious drive of humans and the patience of elves.

Primary Class:
Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

Secondary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.

Tired. Sore throat. Jet's happy. Haley and Alex were sick, so I kept Jet for the morning. He actually slept for the whole time Joan usually takes him. He didn't wake up until nearly noon and then he had another nap late in the afternoon, so I had plenty of time to work. It surprised me mildly.

It was good, though, and Jet's in a great mood with the naps. He had also woken up at 5:30, and despite my best efforts, didn't go back to sleep, so John was up at 6:30, and I got another hour and a half in bed, which was very, very useful to me being at all useful today.

Jet ate, he played, he pounded his Leapfrog drum. He grazed on the thrown-away crackers on his splat mat, he scribbled on a piece of paper with a pen, he got a spoon and whacked everything with it. I guess a typical one-year-old's day.

I felt a mite odd this last weekend, not being at DunDraCon. I finally figured that the requirements of pumping every four hours to continue nursing Jet when I got back was just a bit too much this year. I know I'm not going to be nursing Jet next year, so I'll definitely go then, but for this year, too, I'm missing it. It's kind of sad, but it was definitely the right choice given how tired I am even with John's help taking care of Jet.
