May. 8th, 2003 10:13 amThe only problem with Jet learning how to weed for Joan and John is that he's pulling up the tomato seedlings I'm growing in the house. I found another three, limp bodies this morning, and I've replanted them and their sadly shorn roots and we'll see if they recover by this weekend. Two of them, luckily, are still pretty small, but one was a good-sized cherry tomato plant.
Luckily, I did plant eighteen of 'em and can really only pot four. Joan's going to take the others for her garden, and some of the seeds never came up. Still, I should be able to get another batch of them and of cilantro in before it gets too hot to sprout things.
Redundancy is a good thing.
