Eyes, Socks, and Editing

Been busy. Jet's doing running club and wearing through socks, his feet are now the same size mine are, so I'm making him socks with the idea in mind that when he outgrow them they're now *mine*.

( Snow, garden, spinning and knitting, health check, a very simple Valentine's, and some very complex advances in pattern recognition. )

The Fall of a Single Sparrow...

The whole revolution in Egypt and the ensuing protests in the other more autocratic states in the region has really woken me up, in a lot of ways, to the power of social networks, these days, in enabling those kind of actions...

Here's a very intriguing article and radio news story about Twitter and the impact it has had as well.

But it's just... making me really think about the twists and turns and crazy things people will try to do with technology that no one could have thought of before it was available...
