I had somewhat of a crush on Barishnikov until he missed TWO eagerly awaited performances with the San Francisco Ballet. I heard that he had gotten a bad review or bad treatment or something in San Francisco earlier and ever since then he'd malingered. Dead crush, sad.

But wow, he was amazing on TV. I'm still sad I never got to see him in person!

I'd forgotten I was a ballet fiend when I was a kid. Hee! And too clumsy to dance myself, but I adored it.

How sad! Cool to know that I wasn't the only one. :-)

Yay for old memories. How very cool. Yeah, I was too clumsy and last-picked on any sport team to think I could, but I did adore seeing it.
