Or being afraid to get it wrong, which is the same thing, only with a different twist. The minx tends to be very much a perfectionist -- in the sense that the fear of Being Wrong keeps her from even trying...
She's doing less of that, though sometimes I have to bully her into it. Such as spelling.
Yeah. Jet has a smidge of that, too. I wonder if it's just teaching that gets some people to "get over it" and others to use it as a way to get ulcers their whole lives...
