Autumn Clapotis

It's all 'transition' colors, nearly none of it is any one color, but the jewel tones really set each other off very nicely in a tweady, billowy kind of way.

I love how the color stripes go the opposite of the ladders, and both of those are actually diagonal to the sides of the scarf, itself. So it's actually quite cooly complex.

That is very very cool! I love the mix of colors. You're creating your own rainbow!

Lovely. I really like the clapotis pattern, it works so nicely for what it does.

Yay! thanks!!

A dark rainbow... that's interesting to realize that this really does have all the colors of the rainbow on it. I hadn't realized that before! Mostly just saw the reds and greens and "autumny" colors, but it really has all six plus some Hmmmm....

And it's a nicely soothing knit, too. "three twisted, three straight, three twisted..." and lots of purl! (Ha! Not perl!)

*giggles*

I'll admit that the second drop was a bit... scary. :-) The first one was so short, but the second one, I had to really just *do* it... and it turned out so nicely, it's fun now. *grin*
