Jet sold 50+ items for about $450, half of which goes to his school. What bemuses me is that he did all the selling. We're definitely not the parents that run around doing the work for him. He really wanted the LED infinite reflection clock (a one-way mirror as the front face), which is why he got to 50 items. Though he really wanted the "pop machine", it was another 100 items. Meefle.

I hope he gets some kind of high sales prize. It would be cool for him to get rewarded for his efforts unexpectedly as well as the ways he was hoping for.

He is pretty pleased by what he did and how much of it he did. Definitely a confidence builder for him, though I'm not sure he needed it it never hurts.

Note to self: add "meefle" to vocabulary.

I've friended you. At least I THINK I have, I'm still new at this. You may certainly friend me back. I feel quite complimented.

That is really cool. I should have had Robby come up to the office and go around; instead, I did the totally passive-aggressive thing of putting the form on the table in the breakroom. Fortunately, we were selling good stuff this year, so that still netted us nearly 20 orders, but I'm sure we could have gotten more.

I was very tempted to do that. :-)

I'm not a salesperson, to say the least, and it was actually pretty hard to just follow Jet around and do all the accounting for him, and ask folks to pay us up front when I really didn't know when the stuff was coming.

So it was... but I am pretty amazed by the results.

Meefle! Wow. I'm not a salesperson at all either, and it sounds like Jet is a born one. Of the best kind, that are sincerely friendly.

Thank you for the address! *looks mysterious and smug*

Meefle! *grin*

Or pushy. I'm not quite sure, which. He's willing to sell to anyone at anytime, even when I was thinking it might not be quite appropriate, but they seemed to think otherwise, so it was okay.

*giggles* about the mystery. Ooo! Yay! Surprises! I love surprises.
