Anime Fever Org is fixed! Woohooo!! I zoomed through another four episodes (ending on 62, whew) and am far more impressed by Ni-sama than I have ever been before. *happiness*

And Ichigo is still very cool.

And now I can zoom through incandescens's fanfic, now and actually understand what's going on. *giggles*

I still wonder who would have won, in the Yamamoto-Ukitake-Shunsui fight. But I don't get the impression that Shunsui and Ukitake actually expected to win . . .

Yeah. I got the impression that they expected to lose, badly, but would put up the fight simply to lodge their protest against their sensei's actions. There's a lot of that kind of thing in Long Wolf and Cub, where people decide to fight even knowing they're going to die but to do it as a protest and a way to communicate that they really believe that what's happening is wrong.

I'd expect that to get any commander's attention, when they actually commit their lives to the statement.

But it's more of a statement in a feudal Japan without the kind of insane medical capabilities that Soul Society has. *laughter*

I do look forward to, some day, getting to see what those two's shikai actually does, let alone their bankai. I suspect that KT is saving that for some truly epic battle scene. Grr.

I wouldn't mind seeing Nanao's zanpakutou, either. There's a big picture in the published Bleach artbook of all the Vice-Captains with zanpakutou, and it shows her drawing her blade from her sleeve (which suggests what she was doing with her hand motion just before Yamamoto's reiatsu knocked her to her knees). Incidentally, it also shows that Nemu has a zanpakutou too.

(Oh, and did you notice that Yachiru's zanpakutou is on training wheels? :))

It would be very cool to see their real cpabilities rather than just the showing of both sets of two blades.

I think I saw the wheels once and thought that that was a very fine way for her to drag the thing behind her. But very cute. too in kind of a scary way as it seems to indicate that she has power to spare. *laughter*

It would be cool to see if Nanao's zanpakutou is as precise as she is.

I've got a doujinshi somewhere which suggests that the released form of her zanpakutou would be a naginata. Of course, there's no evidence as yet to confirm or deny, but it was a nice picture.
