We got off really easy, actually. It's okay to not have warned us, as I'm not sure exactly how the warning could have been worded. We even saw a guy in a complete bug suit at one of the lakes, so it's not like we didn't know there might be bugs.
Wow about the camping out there!
Yeah, we were really glad we went on the tour. It was magnificent and only one big, bumbling beetle that bumped me while we were flying by on the boat.
