Yeah... relatively forever...

Hm... This (http://www.flickr.com/photos/liralenli/2261984980/in/set-72057594071005766/) was with size US2's and took about... six months between the spinning and the knitting.

This (http://www.flickr.com/photos/liralenli/104976320/in/set-72057594071005766/) was size 4's so just three or four months? And commercial yarn, as it's gotten good enough, now that I don't spin it that often.

This (http://www.flickr.com/photos/liralenli/121530817/in/set-72057594071005766/) I designed but used commercial yarn and the US3's and took about a year to finish. With lots of socks and scarves between bits.

I usually have one giant project going all the time, and lots of little ones. With the writing I started in February I haven't actually picked up a bit project since the Phoenix (http://www.flickr.com/photos/liralenli/2229636281/in/set-72057594071005766/) (which was on US2's, that took a year.. gah). But I'm contemplating two water dragons for Ukitake's Twin Pisces and making a sweater for that. It'd be... fun.
