Mmm... yeah... I've always been into food for food's sake, though I am often in the food as fuel category when I'm in a hurry or really busy with something.

But when I can take the time, I do.

Like making root beer for Jet and I by putting yeast, sugar, extract and water into bottles and then letting it ferment in the garage. *laughs* The results are a lot cheaper than pop, and they taste better, too. *grins* I need to report on our first batch of the summer.
