Carla's knee has recovered completely from being replaced last fall. That's the good news. The bad news is that once the knee was fixed one of her hips decided that it was time to give out. Or, more likely, the knee was masking developing hip issues. So it's more surgery this winter.
I really have nothing to complain about in comparison. Mine hurts when I do things like rolling over it trying to get up fast enough to avoid a pack of charging goldens eager to lick my face while it's at their level. And, really, there are far worse things than being caught in that situation. *grin*
