Wake Up Call
Dec. 13th, 2001 11:14 amJet only woke up *twice* last night and both times he was relatively easy to get back to sleep. No more diaper rash, we have a useful approach to getting him to sleep that doesn't trigger his separation anxiety from me, AND he gets Tylenol for his budding, about budded teeth. He now has two little ridges of what are probably his teeth through the top gum. When the two bottom ones come out we'll know he's not teething anymore.
It's useful to know what's getting him up so we can do something about it. I really can't imagine the days when the only thing they'd tell you to do was ignore the baby. There are still books out now that say, "Well you can't do anything about the pain of teething, so don't go in there an pick them up or anything. Just leave them alone since you can't do anything." Grrrr. Argh.
Jet even slept until 7:50 this morning, so it was very nice indeed. We both got to sleep until we were simply done sleeping.
