liralenJet had a very restless night, and we just split the night and slept half of it with him for each of us. I got another half hour this morning, after John had gotten up and showered, so I'm actually functional.
Jet's a lump, though. We did call the pediatrician, and they said that there's a virus going around that they really can't do anything about. There's two versions. One where the kid runs a high temperature for four or five days and has some congestion, which sounds exactly like what Jet has. The other version has the same high temp, but the kid's vomiting pretty much constantly. I'm very, very thankful that we have the first version and not the second. Whew.
Yes. I say we. It's likely inevitable that John and I'll get it. Jet's only napping for half an hour at a time during the day, and he's kind of weepy when he's tired. He's also coughing and sneezing a lot, but that'll just help clear it out when it's done. He was actually cool for a little bit this morning, but the temps come back again. So we're giving him plenty of ibuprofen and apologizing to those in our meetings about our scattered brained approaches.
