liralenThis morning, when John was putting ointment on his feet, after showering, to prevent the cracked feet the dryness here makes way too easy, Jet walked up to John, peered and said, "No eat that. No eat."
"Yes, Jet, that's not for eating."
"Yeah," he nodded, "not butter."
Which made me think, wildly, of when Jet last tried to eat Eurcerine hand cream... and then I realized that Joan uses the stuff all the time,too, and maybe she told him... but... why butter? Jet usually calls peanutbutter "butter"...
"Butter?"
"Yeah, it's not butter. No eat." Jet said, seriously, and I never really got further than that. Still, that he made the connection between that thick cream and PB wasn't too far a leap... and it's good that he knows NOT to eat the stuff, even if it is the consistancy of something he really likes to eat.
