Hugs

The other afternoon, after Jet was playing for a while and I was working on some stuff, he came over to me, held his arms up to get picked up, curled up against me when I did and said, "Hugs!"

He just snuggled in and kept saying,"Mmmm... hugs!" for a good fifteen minutes as I just hugged him a lot and he was grinning the whole time. Happy boy.

That felt wonderful.

He does always sound happy, which is a huge gift in a child. I hope he managed to keep it all his life.
