Autumn Clapotis
Sep. 26th, 2006 01:47 pmIt's now much further along. And you can now see the knit effects of the two kinds of yarn, and they're both really cool. On the right is the Navajo-ply with the very clear, clean colors. In the top, left hand corner is the two-ply, which turned out much cooler than I'd thought it would from what the skein looked like!
It's all 'transition' colors, nearly none of it is any one color, but the jewel tones really set each other off very nicely in a tweady, billowy kind of way.
I love how the color stripes go the opposite of the ladders, and both of those are actually diagonal to the sides of the scarf, itself. So it's actually quite cooly complex.
