Jun. 11th, 2003 04:40 pmA lady, who read my big journal, says that she's interested in my contributing a section to a women's book that she's organizing. The subjects and questions she's sent look interesting, and it seems like an interesting proposal. She's said, up front, that she doesn't think it's going to be a money-making proposal, but it might be fun to do.
DragonDictate 7 is as good as it was advertised to be. I'm pretty impressed, but I have an odd feeling that with more time and usage it's going to be like the other versions and actually get *worse* accuracy as my data files move further from the 'norm'. It'll be interesting to see, in the long term, and as I write more with it.

Date: 2003-06-11 04:11 pm (UTC)I need to read your other log more. Toddler. Busy. Well, you may have seen my LJ stuff. *sigh* I tried to find it, but I was looking at eskimo instead of the other one. Oops. I'll have to check and see if I bookmarked the correct one.

Date: 2003-06-11 09:04 pm (UTC)Heh. It was in the post I did here a day or two back, too. (http://www.flick.com/~liralen/journal/journal.html)
Definitely busy. I *SOOOOO* understand having no time with a toddler in the house. *grin*

Date: 2003-06-12 11:14 am (UTC)Yeah, I thought that you'd mentioned something like that, but couldn't recall. Or something. It's been a long week -- sick me, sick spouse, manic 3-yr-old... *hug*

Date: 2003-06-12 09:15 pm (UTC)I had it installed on my laptop.
Not to worry, though... I had the software in my briefcase!
(If this doesn't make sense, my laptop and briefcase were stolen from my house, and I'm starting to realize just how much stuff I had that was only digitially present on my laptop, "but don't worry, I have a backup in my briefcase")
It's good to know that I can go with either, if/when I get around to replacing it.
