Got to the final battle of Kingdom Hearts II and I've been denied four times already. Yeah, we didn't do all the quests on all the worlds, and I suspect that I'm being pretty hamstringed by that, but so it is. It was pretty close...

I might go back to the world map while Jet's sleeping and do the other quests before hitting the last one again. Or just ask him which world I should be going to, now.

There's quite a few weapons I still haven't gotten and I'm not that far up on levels, yet. *sigh*

Though I do wonder if Riku will go with me if I do go to other worlds. It would be cool.

There's something about finding a friend that was lost that really gets to me. I now also know that it's only Riku that goes with me into the final battle, so I should be shoring him up a lot as well. It's... weird... having a computer-played partner in the fighting that really does look out for me. Donald and Goofy are... well... too goofy about it for it to make the same impact as Riku. Oddly enough or perhaps not so oddly, it fires off some of the same fierceness as when I used to play soccer.

Now I have to get that feeling of teamwork into the brothers' work in the Temple story.

Spent the morning at the dentist with Jet, as he was having his cleaning and half a year checkup. It's the old dentist's office, and I think that while Jet doesn't have anything bad happening, he'll do just fine with them. I am really unhappy about my crown and happier if I'm with someone else after all that, so that's okay, but it made it oddly tense when just talking with the dentist.

The office hadn't been very accommodating about getting my records transfered to my new dentist. So it is.

They have really, really cheap toys as rewards for the kids afterwards, and Jet, after much deliberation, picked a little plastic container that had a frayed bit of rope in it. That's all. I rolled my eyes, and we went to Target to get Jet something real. I bought him a small Lego Creations kit, and he bought himself a tiny travel case parcheesi game. I also bought more interior paper for the books, as we're going through the first hundred pages far, far faster than I'd expected to. We also got eggs as they have the best price on Omega-3 cageless eggs. Since I wanted a quarter of buttermilk and Jet wanted some new bandaids, we got a basket and got everything out, no problem.

We got home, had some lunch, played a game of parcheesi and then played Kingdom Hearts for three or four hours straight. My hands hurt.

I should write, but I'm not as much in the mood for it as I want to be. Doing the blog thing may be enough for right now. Though Si has been patiently sitting at my hind brain and I can just see his eyebrow going up as he notices me thinking about him. Gravedigger humph...
