liralenWe had a great day, yesterday. Went to Flat Irons Mall and had a blast redeeming all my birthday wishes. Got my Cranium flavored Franklin Covey refill, went to William Sonoma and got my wish list items. We also came across some Halloween cookie cutters and a decorating kit. Jet grabbed one of the display cookies, bit the tip off it and looked mildly concerned as it didn't taste much like a cookie at all... I think it was a salt dough.
Jet got to see bears getting stuffed, run through a toy store, run through a candy store, monster radio controlled wrestling trucks (yeah... it's amazing what toy truck axis can now do), and got to ride the little green choo-choo TWICE (it's a small shuttle that runs between five major shopping areas). He was pretty ecstatic. Jet ate huge amounts of fries and pop at the end of all that, and slept like a bear, only getting up once during the night. Whew.
My sicknesses seem pretty much gone. My eyes are still a little bloodshot, but getting better. I can't wait until I can wear my contacts again. I'm getting back to figuring out more of what I want. My new job thing fell through at the beginning of October again, so I'm going to talk to HR and see what else can be done. Do what I can...
