Prompt: They run into each other...
As per my winter drabbles request post.
Author's Note: Uh oh... could be much more to this one eventually... *laughs*
Mist wreathed the green mountain. Ginko smoked, blowing smoke rings.
He looked up when branches rustled, and a man stood before him, hair as white has his, falling improbably long. Eyes shone as green as his own.
A mushi glow haloed the stranger. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"You're dead?"
"Of course I am. Ukitake Jyuushiro, pleased to meet you."
Ginko bowed. "Ginko, at your service, lord."
The snort put Ginko at ease.
"I'm no lord, but I need your help."
"For what?" Ginko gathered his belongings and stood.
"To free a trapped soul."
"Right. Let's go."
