Oct. 23rd, 2003 01:41 pmYesterday, I tried the Fitaly Stamp for my Visor. It worked really well, the only problem was that it messed up my right hand tremendously. Dang. I think that if I actually had a modern Palm (okay, maybe one without a keyboard built in) with a wireless connection (is there a wireless Palm without a keyboard anymroe?) that could do email or other more text-intensive things, then I'd actually get this software. As it is, though, I don't do much text entry via stylus anyway, so it seems a waste of $35 dollars, though, admittedly, the Stamp version of it, with the slides to capitalize or morph letters is very, very cool.
I like it a lot, but I can't justify buying it for myself as it would wreck my right hand in nearly nothing flat.

Date: 2003-10-23 01:22 pm (UTC)Nope - the two wireless Palm Tungsten models both have those silly chiclet QWERTY keyboards.
However, SanDisk makes a Wi-FI SDIO card - and they claim they'll be adding PalmOS 5 support this Autumn. Virtually all the modern Palms (at least the ones made by Palm, as opposed to the Sony Clie models) have an SD slot.

Me, I just want a bloody Bluetooth card that works with my Zire 71.

I had wondered if there was a place for this software, and I guess there is. Very keen.
