It does! Especially in the sea of dark suits everyone else was wearing, it was super-easy to spot John in an instant! That was very useful as it was a pretty big venue.
Ooh, I bet that gown is even prettier in person, and it's very very pretty in the photo. It must drape so beautifully with those gathers. And the zoot suit is fantastic!
It flows so nicely. I really enjoy it and got a lot of compliments. Someone also said that if we wanted to take up swing dancing, we were set. *grin* They both looked very 1940's to a lot of folks, so it seemed to match for people. That was very neat.
John was getting so many double-takes, I started warning people about whiplash...
And Judi, the manager of HR, made us get a formal picture, and promised that she would buy one. She NEVER sees us like that, and she just wanted proof. *grin*
The last time I saw you it was through glasses smeared with the hand prints of a very young Jet and you were both dressed to survive similar encounters. This is very different and most impressive.
