The filtering company for my company has suddenly started filtering out LiveJournal sites, so I can't keep up with folks and stuff from work. I'm pretty grumpy, but I'm pursuing things inside the company to get it working again. It's likely to just be another case of someone being overzealous and if they're told, it'll roll back.
But I'm really grumpy about having to do it at all.
Growl.

Date: 2004-09-22 12:33 pm (UTC)I have a shell account I can ssh out from. I'm mildly lost as to how to tunnel out, and it would probably be a good thing to learn of they shut if off again. Is there a reference or something on how to do it? Or would you be so kind as to explain how I could do it?
I'm actually mildly tempted to echo my livejournal journal on my eskimo account, and just have it available from my shell account there... Just spend a weekend and set it up to be accessed from either; BUT that wouldn't solve my ability to access my friend list. I'll have to look at the instructions on how to access my journal through another site...
