When John came home Saturday, Jet went up to him and asked, "Can we go to pants and shirt store and buy choo-choo Momma said No to?"

John asked me, cautiously, later, why I'd said No.

Turns out that Jet had 10 Clean-and-Dry day stamps, which he can trade in for just about anything his little heart desires, and since he desired it so much, he and John went and got the choo-choo Momma said No to. *grin*

Originally it was because I didn't want to buy him something simply because he wanted it and we happened to be at a store. He came at me with a dozen different playsets and boxes of toys and things and I just said No to everything, to be consistent. I guess I said No so often that that really stuck. Hee...
