Let me thank you again, btw, for the gift of such an amazing craft. I tell other people the story of how I got into spinning and they become insanely jealous, and rightly so. Working with raw fleece is amazing, and I never EVER would have had the courage to do it if you hadn't gifted me with so many.
I'm so very, very glad that it gave you the courage to get into something you loved. It's very cool to see all that you're getting out of that mass I sent you. Amazing how with the one gift we both benefitted so much. I got rid of a huge weight of my own expectations of myself that I could never have fulfilled and you gained something you would never have otherwise done. How cool is that? :-)
And now I'm also free to redefine what it is I want to get out of spinning and knitting and that's been an amazing thing you did for me by accepting. Thank you for that. Speaking of which it's funny to see myself eyeing a tiny roving drumcarder that would be SOoooo much more appropriate for the volumes and projects I can now handle compared to the one I sent you. :-) Given that I just found a wardrobe box (six feet tall and three feet square) from when we moved five years ago that's full of fibers (including Yet Another Raw fleece), it's not like I have any lack after gifting you.
