First Long Venture Crawl
Oct. 18th, 2001 12:52 pmOh! Yeah! Another first for Jet!
He actually crawled forward, from his play area on the carpet in the living room, through the breakfast area (peering and patting at the wood floor before he ventured onto it with a 'this is new' expression) and then into the laundry room (with another period of testing the linoleum floor with the same quizzical expression), where he suddenly got quiet. That's when John tried to find him, when it was 'Too Quiet', and found him trying to get where the dust pan, the step ladder, and the drying rack lives to play with the dust bunnies.

Date: 2001-10-19 08:48 am (UTC)It's fairly remarkable that ordinary human beings go, in one week, from not being able to crawl forward at all, to suddenly doing it across rooms...

Date: 2001-10-19 08:47 am (UTC)With Jet, I'm not sure if he knows Right from Wrong, yet. He's only recently learned that 'No.' in a certain tone of voice has any more or less meaning than anything else. So I'm pretty sure that it's concentration, with him.
But, yeah, I could bet that that is how Mom knew.
