A man pacing in a parking lot and talking urgently to himself is no longer the disturbing image it once was, especially when you can see the wire from their celphone to their ear...

It strikes me every evening as I walk across campus, yeah. :) The grounds are dotted with people standing, sitting or walking alone, carefully staying out of earshot of one another, all talking on their cellphones. All the people walking along (except me) are talking on cellphones, and about a fifth of the people on bicycles/scooters.
