This is for you tea people out there...

Upton Tea just notified me that they have Heirloom Tea Flowers, which are actually Camellia sinensis flower (from a tea bush) from heirloom tea bushes. They're sundried and available for sale. Low in caffeine, supposedly high in taste. I may have to buy some, along with a sample of the Irish breakfast CTC, okay... and maybe some Golden Monkey...

Speaking of tea people -- did I point you in the direction of http://www.livejournal.com/community/teafreaks/ yet? I think they'd love the reviews and such :)

Cool. I signed up for both, and will likely duplicate reviews to them as well as here, now, since I'll have already written them. :-) Thanks!!

Hmm, I'm wondering if they used partially opened flowers or buds...

Sorry... I updated the link.

It looks like fully open flowers.

Could be interesting...very delicate. (I would expect more of a white tea quality from buds.) Now I'm going to have to try this!
