It's a weird thing to realize, by telling people to NOT do something that I'm doing at least as much of my job as when I tell people something specific to do. That saying, look there isn't any need for this is as necessary as saying, "Hey there's a need for THIS." Maybe even more necessary, as it gives people the knowledge that there is some idea, at the top, that what we are working on is stuff that we know to be important. Somehow that there is stuff that really is unimportant only seems to emphasize the things that are important.
