Mesmerized
Feb. 21st, 2006 03:53 pmJet loves, loves, loves the sand game. He'll contemplate a move, and make it and watch the sand accumulate and then make other walls and just watch it flow and flow. It was funny seeing a five-year-old eating his breakfast before my cold, dead laptop, waiting for me to wake up so that I could log in to let him use the game. It's amazing to see how patient he is about it, too. Like watching a Zen gardener with a rake, contemplate his garden before setting anything to it.

Date: 2006-02-22 07:52 pm (UTC)If you want to download it and play it locally there's a jar file (http://chir.ag/stuff/sand/sand7.jar). You probably have java already working somehow. So download the jar file and save it as "sand7.jar" somewhere and then do "java -jar sand7.jar sand7"
It really books on a fast machine. My laptop is slow enough that Jet can take his time with it. :-)
