This is the Pink and Purple Experiment. I wanted to try the garter squares and the I-cord edging, so this pretty much is that. A bunch of mitered squares with some nice, soft, stretchy garter (to combat the otherwise inelastic but supremely machine washable acrylic) panels between four corner squares. The edging finished it very nicely.

Oh, that ombre is marvelous. I especially like the squares of color amidst the solid!

I have zero time for crochet anymore (used to do it while watching DVDs after work, but that doesn't jive so well with homework), so I'm really enjoying all your knitting posts.

I love the poncho, and that's QUITE the attitude from the model. Very "You wanna start something, compadre?"... I think I'd cross the street and walk on the other side.
