Better than DemonGirl, whom I had last night. Complete with curses and demon secrets that she could not speak without being killed by the curse. Also, angel telepathy.
Oh, that's the abridged version of the tale she told. The Evil Demon King had cast spells to enslave all the demon parents, and keep the demon kids from rescuing them, and her "real mother" was really a demon who used to be an angel but was turned into a demon against her will...
I do wish she'd write down some of this stuff. It's very much Woah at times.
I should note that the next day, she felt it necessary to tell me that she was just acting a role when she was saying that she had a demon mom and was a demon girl. I assured her that I'd understood that, and wasn't upset. O:>
It amazes me how much of childhood learning is kicked of by chance... like when Jet first learned to crawl, he figured out a muscle combination that would allow him to move, but only backwards! He would start squalling when he realized he was getting further away from the thing he wanted. That lasted about a week, and then he figured out how to put it into reverse, and never looked back after that. (or since... hey, Mom! I can walk backwards!! Ow!)

I told her to go to sleep.
