On the way to the bus stop this morning, Jet said, "When the wind is cold, if you get on the bicycle and pedal really hard, the wind goes so fast, you get warm!"

"Didja know?" I responded, "If you hold an ice cream cone in a moving car with the windows down, it'll melt faster, even in cold weather, than leaving an ice cream cone out in warm weather."

Jet thought about it for a bit and then said, "It's even faster if you run over the ice cream cone with a car! All those bumpy bits on the tire would melt it good."

I like the one about having a helium balloon in a moving car -- when you accelerate, the balloon moves to the front of the car; when you brake, it moves to the rear. It always goes the opposite way to whatever the local "down" is at the moment.

Yeah. Jet was fascinated by that the last time he had a balloon in the car.
