It's kind of interesting in a kind of "watching a train wreck happen" way of interesting to see how MANY people are in a last-minute holiday panic over knitting projects not finished over in knitting.
I'm so glad my relatives are mostly long-distance.
Heh. I just started working on my brother's present yesterday (a sweater), and the back is 2/3 done. But, since i'm allergic to Christmas presents, i just sent him a card letting him know that i'll be sending him something for his birthday (in Februrary).
Hmm. Argh. Okay; i think i got my head confused and was thinking of the Toni Morrison colorway. At any rate, it's Schaefer yarns which names colorways after famous women. I first found the line at little knits, but Ewe Need Yarn also has some.
I just finished the second of a pair of beaded swag cuffs, and gave it away a half hour later, today.
I have a crocheted wrap to finish up this week so I can get it in the mail (90% done), a present for Thursday that I'm going to sub something nice that I've already done because what I was working on isn't turning out how I'd hoped anyway, and an Elann Highland Wrap to finish by the 30th. Oh, and 8 pairs of pajama pants to sew up on my new serger before the boys finish up with school.

Wow. I'm impresssed at your optimism!
Though I am putting in the post some things I just got yesterday, so... I can't speak too much to it.
I do have a pair of mittens for *after* the holidays as I hope to do my first felting during the holidays. Whee!
