I finished a mitten for Jet, last night, in ten minutes. Oops.
Size 10 1/2 needles make for FAST work, 3 st per inch and 4 rows per inch and a tiny, bitty hand to cover, even with the 50% length addition for felting and the 20% width addition...
A lady at church loved the felted mittens I'd made for someone else and she wants to see how they're made. She's never even knitted anything other than scarves... so she wanted to just get a feeling for what it's like to knit it and felt it, so I thought I'd have at least one done beforehand. I didn't think it would take that little time, though.
