Yes. This is Jet looking FAR too compitent to be just six. He's in his construction get up, with tap measures, safety goggles, work gloves, and more. He is helping John and I build our raised garden boxes for the side yard, where there's southern exposure. He really loves building things, and he did a heroic job with dragging about wood, holding things while we were sawing, screwing things together, and generally putting it all up.
This was our first warm Spring Sun kind of day in a bit, and it was actually in the 50's! Woohoo! But we had a great day just building things and Jet loved using his tools.

She was truly shocked the last time they visited and I told her that the local nursury carries a line of children's work gloves (like the ones Jet is wearing). I don't think she believes me when I tell her she's missing out on a lot of fun.

John grew up building everything with his father, so he's got a good foundation of how to do those kinds of things. It's cool to get the chance to give Jet the opportunity to use all those skills and tools and things early.
