While watching me write up cards for all the things I wanted to do at the OUR center garden, Jet asked if he could have a card as well and create his own ToDo List. I said sure, and he wrote, carefully Jetz To Do at the top and put a box next to it so that when he was done with everything, he could check that off, too.

He wrote down his weekend reading homework, playing with his marble rollercoaster, helping Dad with the deck, and to finish it off, he added "Frt" with a neat box by it and "Brp." Yes. Fart and burp, but he wouldn't check them off until he'd done everything else.

It's good to know he's *still* a Kindergartener. Whew.

You need to get him an old Palm Pilot or something, so he can schedule a recurring task with a reminder :)

on every list of tasks include a few easy ones so that no matter what happens you can always feel a partial sense of accomplishment.

kindergarten, you say? it took me at least 2 decades to figure that one out.

He's not quite got all the vowels yet, but he knows most of the other letter sounds, so it works out pretty well when we try to read what he wrote. Hee.

classic!

btw, *DANCE* *JIGGLE* *WRIGGLE*

the sweater arrived today!

gorgeous, gorgeous.

and, she happened to be wearing a sleeper with purple flowers, and we happened to be walking out the door for a nice dinner, so we popped on the sweater, and maeve was the belle of the restaurant. we took pics (but with a flash, bleh), which will be posted soon enough.

thank YOU, thank YOU.

very cute, very "her." it fits well, with one roll-up on the sleeves, so we'll have some time in it. that's great, as most things that fit her in the body are too short in the sleeves now, and are basically getting too short in the legs. she'll be baggy-girl for awhile, i'm guessin'.

anyhow, flippin' gorgeous sweater, tanks!

Yay! Yay! Yay!

I'm *so* glad it still fits! *beam* Yay for having Room To Grow! I'm so amazed that that tiny a sweater fits a human being, still. *giggles* When I made it my brain refused to believe that a baby other than a newborn would even fit in the heartbreakingly tiny thing! Wow.

You've made my day! Thank you!!
