liralen: Finch Painting (tomato)

Though, admittedly I hadn't thought of it that way to start...

But give me about 1.5 to 3 hours of working in a garden, a couple of good meals, and some time to unwind at the end of the day and I sleep all night. It's amazing how well it works.

I spent a lot more time at the OUR center garden today than I'd planned to; however, the compost had arrived, but there was no tiller and no one had gotten it spread out in the garden yet, so I went in and did a lot of hand-turning of earth and compost together. I upset a lot of earthworms, poor things.

But I ended up with some bunching onions planted, and I got some sugar snap peas, snow peas, and regular shelling peas all in. Not all of them, at all, but enough to start. I'm supposed to do them every couple of weeks, so that's all to the good. I also had lunch with Bob and Lynn and John and two ladies from our church at Ichi Ban. The last two were there just because they've been going there a lot lately. *grin* We haven't actually been there all that often lately.

Yesterday I got a lot done, too. Hit six different stops in Boulder, everything from getting more calligraphy supplies to getting my Lush Herbalism along with a free little pot of Crash Course in Skincare. Hee. It's just yogurt, avocado and lemon as a face mask. Feels very nice. Did that after the shower today... mmm.... clean skin. I also got some of the sun screen facial moisterizer I love at Origins. I also bought some nice fresh frozen ramen at the Asian market there. All kinds of things. *grin* It was a beautiful day, too.

Today's been drizzly and 50. Makes me homesick. *sigh* The other days have been 70's and SUNNY!! *sigh* for a completely different reason. *grin*
