Feb. 4th, 2002 08:45 pmTrader Joe's Phad Thai *rocks*. It's like $1.95 for noodles and sauce and you add your own veggies, protein and egg and it's *so* good. I picked it up on a whim while we were in San Diego, and it's just really, really good, especially since Thai food, good Thai food is really rare around here. *sigh*

Date: 2002-02-05 08:27 am (UTC)Now I have to scheme and get someone that has access to a Trader Joe's to send me something like six packets of the stuff in a box for twenty bucks or something, because we have no Trader Joes! *sniff*

Lack of Thai, lack of Vietnamese, lack of Chinese, lack of Japanese (oh, for the love of God, a *good* cheap teriyaki place, can that be so hard?), and lack of SEAFOOD.
At least the Indian food here (and Himalayian) is pretty darned good. And the pueblo Indian food is pretty darned tasty, too. Mexican kicks ass, here, too.
I'd probably miss all of those if I moved back to Seattle.
