Trader Joe's Phad Thai *rocks*. It's like $1.95 for noodles and sauce and you add your own veggies, protein and egg and it's *so* good. I picked it up on a whim while we were in San Diego, and it's just really, really good, especially since Thai food, good Thai food is really rare around here. *sigh*

Oddly enough, that's exactly what Chrisber and I had for dinner tonight! I agree: yum!

Yay!

Now I have to scheme and get someone that has access to a Trader Joe's to send me something like six packets of the stuff in a box for twenty bucks or something, because we have no Trader Joes! *sniff*

And I can get something much the same! There *is* good Thai food here, incredibly good Thai food, but affordable Thai food is dire.

See, I'd consider lack of Thai food a big plus in a place to live. :-)

Move out here! Move out here! Move out here!

Ha.

Lack of Thai, lack of Vietnamese, lack of Chinese, lack of Japanese (oh, for the love of God, a *good* cheap teriyaki place, can that be so hard?), and lack of SEAFOOD.

At least the Indian food here (and Himalayian) is pretty darned good. And the pueblo Indian food is pretty darned tasty, too. Mexican kicks ass, here, too.

I'd probably miss all of those if I moved back to Seattle.
